July 2021 Luncheon
Our July speaker brings us an eye-opening discussion of a topic close to her heart.
Time & Location
Jul 13, 2021, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Maggiano's Little Italy, 2019 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056, USA
About The Event
Our speaker this month, Kelsie Suter, is currently working as an Intelligence Analyst at the Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management. Before joining HCOHSEM, Kelsie was a live-in residential care coach in a rehabilitation house for human trafficking victims. Kelsie brings her real-world experience and extensive research knowledge to continue the conversation we began last February: Houston was already considered a hub for human trafficking and the pandemic has only made the crisis worse. What can we do to help turn things around?
BONUS: In honor of Kelsie and her horse, Honey, this month’s Spotlight will focus on Courtney Cares. We’ll get a brief introduction to this Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences program that serves the community while providing experiential learning about the therapeutic horsemanship industry for Aggie student volunteers.
Connect with other H-town Aggies on July 13th for another “can’t miss” episode of Houston Aggie…
