Vacation in New England
Our home is an 1880’s farmhouse located in Mid-coast Maine in the township of Bath.
Website: themaineretreat.com
We are minutes away from Popham Beach, enjoy 4 to 5 hours trips out to sea from Boothbay, which is 22 miles from Bath as well as tours from the Maine Maritime Museum (1 minute from our home) and from Damariscotta, which is 18 miles from Bath. Freeport, Maine, the home of LL Bean, is 30 minutes away and a must visit to do some outlet shopping. Enjoy lobsters and lobster rolls. If you enjoy antiquing there are several large antique malls all a short drive from Bath.
The light house at Pemaquid Point has been selected as the best light in Maine by Downeast Magazine. Shaw’s is a great place to eat lobster and is minutes away from Pemaquid. The town of Wiscasset (20 minutes) is the home of Red’s Eats where they will give you an entire lobster in the lobster roll. Red’s is a Maine landmark. Camden is where “the mountains meets the sea.” Beautiful community and worth the 1 hour trip.
If interested, please call me at 713-385-8384.
I will sit down with you and help plan your trip.
